Allianz Contribution to Houghton Harriers

Houghton Harriers applied for a grant to Allianz a few months ago and to our surprise they have given us £2000.

Andrew Hopper, a parent of one of our young athletes, first suggested that we approach them for a grant as he works for a company linked with Allianz. He is pictured here presenting the cheque to the club.

The money will go towards buying both indoor and outdoor equipment for the youth section of the club.

We would like to thank Allianz for their generous contribution to the club and assure them that this will be extremely helpful in developing young club runners and athletes in the future.
